Headphones: No Sound!

I have my computer playing on tv but no sound My computer makes no sound or has no light when i turn it on. Hello, there!

I'm using the SB X-FI Platinum sound card.

For some reason, all of a sudden, no sound comes out of my headphones while it's connected directly into the headphone jack. The speakers themselves work fine - I tryed them on some other devices.

Weirdly, when I connect my headphones into my speakers, they work fine. but because of the layout of my desk it's hard to properly move around with the one sided cable going straight left.

I've checked all my settings, nothing is muted. It's like my sound card simply decided to stop sending information to the headphone jack...

Could someone help me fix this?

Humm... It looks very tough... Maybe you should go back at the shop where you buy it and try to exchange them with new ones!!

Try connecting the speakers to the headphone jack.
Maybe a wire went bad or something.
