Xp pro install in compaq evo610c

Hello,
Aquired a virus riddled Compaq Evo 610c from a friend who gave up so I have done a re-instal with a xp pro copy formated the partition...no i cant connect to internet...i assume i lost some drivers perhaps, i do not have a driver c/d for the machine can any one help

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Windows XP Pro doesn't need the drivers, however it will not find the internal wifi adapter unless you remove the silver cover, take out the wifi board, restart w/o it. then reinstall the wifi board and start again, it should work fine then...
