Hello,

Can someone advise me please? I believe I have picked up some sort of virus. Everytime I try to open IE it says I've encountered a problem and need to close. When I try to open IE in safe mode it says the same and the following add-on was running when this occurred add-on name mshtmled.dll. I have tried to use system restore but as soon as I get the screen up and push next to restore it gives me the same message I have encountered a problem and need to close. Is there anything I can do? Thanks in advance.

Configuration: Windows Windows XP

Luckily my Safari is working so i was able to install Ad-Aware and HiJack. Ad-Aware quarantined some objects but has not cured the system errors. Hi-Jack has compiled a "Log" of information but says to send it off to some "knowledgeable folks" before making any adjustments or fixing problem.
