Hi,

you can use a splitter to connect your phone to the computer.

or you may use a modem which allows the service.

or you can use the skype software to make calls via your computer.

Without a modem you cannot connect. However you can buy an external modem and it plugs into a usb port. I went to ebay and just ordered one. I paid 16.99 free shipping.

Plug it in the usb port and it should come with a disk for the drivers.

Get a dial up provide and you a ready to surf!

Hope this helps my friend!

The easiest way to pay would be a paypal account. If ou have a bank account you can set up paypal to a credit, debit or to withdraw from your bank account. Check out www.paypal.com, once set up you can go to ebay and search for usb modems.

I just got mine yesterday and I am setting it up today!

Then you can get any old dial up provider, AOL, Netzero, Juno, look around since the place you connect should be with a company that has a local number so you do not incur any long distance charges. And on that note make sure that your local service is unlimited too.

Good luck!

It is amazing how many people will not answer the question and try to sway you to an internet phone. I am looking for the exact same thing. Read another forum that had an answer.

http://www.mycallsoft.com/buyit.html

30-50 dollars for the Call Soft or Call soft pro. Free trial etc, etc :)

Hope this helps man!

Update since you have XP I also found that there is a free program with dialer build in.

Windows XP
Go to the run feature in the start menu and type dialer. It looks like it will be perfect for our needs plus saving us some cash :)

I then used the search feature for dialer

C:\Program Files\Windows NT\dialer.exe create a shortcut to the desk top it is exactly what I wanted and I hope this helps you too.

Is it possible to receive a phone call and transfer it via skype to another PC?

Does anyone have software like this or can recomend existing API's to make it ?

Thank you in advance.
