I need help my belkin modem wont connect

Hello,
my belkin wireless router wont connect to the internet, the little light under the world picture isnt on showing it has internet dispite the fact its pluged into my ntl modem to reccive internet off that, the other lights on there are working i.e. power light, wireless light and the lil light under the phone. i just dont no what to do someone help me :(

Hye there,

verify all the cables which are connected to the wireless router! if you have a phone line connected to it... please verify if it works or not!! Just connect a home phone to it!

Thats a crap answer, the modems are terrible. Mine took 2 weeks to get working and i even followed the instructions. My suggestion is take it back and get a different one.
