Deleting Files from a Flash Drive

I believe to a take an action with respect to all the files on a flash drive, you highlight one file, then press Ctrl-A.

What if you you want to delete almost all of the files? Do you have to delete the files one-by-one? Or can I use Ctrl-A to select all the files and then is there a way to un-select a few of the files?
Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

hi if you want to select all at once you select a file and then ctrl+A and if you want to deselect one particular file you just place your cursor on it and hold ctrl and click. Thats it!
