How to show aspx to html format?

Hello,
I have one question,would you pay attention and help me?!
I'm a web site designer and I'm working in Asp.net.
I visited a web site yesterday and I saw all pages of this site is in html format.
that site was dynamic but I couldn't see any .aspx or .php extention !
I saw that site has search option but showing in html format!
how it works?!
do u know that?!
