Sound Blaster 5.1Front right speaker not work

Hi,

I am Samuel,

I am using Creative for 2 yrs I dont have any prob but now, My Front right speaker is not working, I tested the speaker with another slot it worked.
• I tried Creative diagnostic "passed".
• I tried Speaker test "Front right alone not working"
• I tried updating the driver

I tried reconnecting the slot, to check whether it is inserted properly

OS:WinXP SP2
Sound card model no:SB0680
Sound Blaster 5.1

Can some one please help me, I am so much worried about this prob, your help is highly appreciated

Hi,

check your audio settings by going to Audio properties.

it maight be that the front right speaker is muted.

Thanks a lot for your reply first

I checked that friend,everything is fine,added I have check the right speaker connecting to some other ports,it it working fine,times I can hear some hiss noice

Have the same problem after updating my diver yesterday. Rear don't work nor front
