Windows 98 - cannot downlowad Adobe

Hello,
I have been trying to download Adobe to a friends computer so she can see video - YouTube, etc.

but, when I do get to the point of clicking on 'download' - there is an error message that says I have performed an illegal operation and windows must shut down

I have gone in and 'allowed' Java and I defragged and run her maintenance - which had not be done in years.

Still - I cannot get past the 'illegal message' - it shuts down

I sure hope someone can help today or early Monday morning - I will be leaving then.

Hello,

With Windows 98 (or 98SE) u can only download Adobe 6 or less.
