Cs 1.6 server problem

Hello, when i try to connected to the master game server of cs 1.6 it say "could not connect master game server".

so please help me how to do ok.

Configuration: Windows XP
Safari 530.5

Hi,
check the settings in the game control.
or this problem may be due to a Firewall issue.
you should disable the firewall.

But my cs 1.6 no steam when i connect new game or server it say"could not connect to server"
so i check at console it say this in the console Bogus key length on CD Key..

Hi i had the same problem..............i just replaced the masterserver.vdf in the pltform/config directory n its working fine now...............no firewall issues for sure.......download a masterserver.vdf from the net......

or open your masterserver.vdf with notepad n replace its text with the following text...................n it'll hopefully work........do reply if it helps or not..........

Hi, can you help me? When i open hlds.exe i go to console and it says:

No masters loaded
Using default master
No auth servers parsed
Disabling Valve Authentication.
Could not establish connection to Steam servers.
SteamStartValidatingUserIDTicket: No Valve Auth servers defined

And becouse of this problem people cant login to my server(becouse they dont even see my server) can you tell me whats wrong? what i should do?

Well i did what u said and copied the text to masterservers.vdf and it would let me copy it "it said could not create make sure the path and file name are correct" what do i do?

Get the server file from http://css.setti.info/servers/masterserver/. Worked for me.
