Ps3 update for online games

Hello,
I have ufc for playstion 3 and for some reason i can not accept invites do to needing online game updates. I am unable to get updates because it does not show up during game start up like the other games do. My ports are opened and i have great internate connections. If anyone could help me on this problem it would most appreciated
