Service pack 3 issues

Hello,i was wondering if some one could give me some advice on a little problem im having installing service pack 3 on my computer.after it installed my computer was stuck in a reboot loop and i had to use the cd to reinstall my service pack 2.i have a core2 duo processor by pentium i have 2gig of ram nearly 3.i was just wondering if anyone could suggest some ways to get it installed on my comp without and dramas happenin to my comp..

Hi,
this must be an outdated version of pre-release SP3. Check fo the latest version of SP3 on the website of Microsoft.

or you can boot from a Windows CD and go for the repair option.

then copy gdi32.dll from c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386\gdi32.dll to c:\windows\system32\gdi32.dll.

and finally restart your computer.
