Hello,
I have a big problem. I think I downloaded activex.exe and it has caused some major problems. First everytime I log on this spyware sweeper (that is not what it is called) thing turns on a starts scanning my computer. it never finishes though because my computer shuts down and reboots. When I cancel the search and tell it to clean up it wants me to regester or something. I was trying to watch a video and it told me I needed to get active x. I even looked up what active x was because I was not sure whether or not it was safe. Anyway now my computer doesnt run for more than a couple of minutes before shutting down, even in safe mode. I have tried to run the many other sweeper programs I have on my computer but they can never finish because the compter shuts down.

Oh yeah I just remebered. When I downloaded this virus thing. Windows defender said it had detected a problem and was working to solve it. My other virus programs did the same. After a couple of minutes windows defender said that to protect my system I needed to reboot my computer. So I did. When I rebooted the computer and logged on that is when the new sweeper program started and the computer started to shut down every few minutes.

Configuration: Windows Vista
Internet Explorer 7.0
