Outgoing audio not working, incoming working

Hello,
I have a hp pavillion dv2000. I recently had the mother board replaced under the warranty. Upon receiving computer back, I performed a software update, and when I went to use my skype, I have no outgoing audio. I can hear callers, but they cannot here me. I returned the laptop to HP repair center, and they said they needed to reformat hard-drive so I had to remove all data, and they reformatted hard-drive. At center, the outgoing audio seemed to work. I got it home, and it does not work again. I can hear callers very clear, however, they cannot hear a thing i am saying. Nothing is muted, but remains a mystery....any ideas???
