RUNDLL32 PROBLEM - PLEASE HELP

Hello,

tried to install windows xp service pack and got messge:

C:\windows\system32\rundll32.ex4
windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access them


also same with grpconv.exe


now i cannot download anything - tried real player
cant get to msconfig
cant open anything in the control panel
cant open word, access, etc

thank you in advance for your help

you must log in the administrator account and then try to access again.
