Compaq presario f500 system restore help

Hello,
i have a compaq presario f500 which i need to restore to factory settings i know i dont need a new windows cd because iv done it bfore and i guess the reinstalling is in the computer itself im running windows vista home basic i just cant seeem to remeber how to do it i thought it was hitting cntrl F11 or somthing likfe that efore the windwos logo came up but that doesent seem to be it anyone know?

Try booting on safe mode by pressing F8

Once you are on safe mode try to do a system restore!

This can help solving the problem!
