Desktop icons no show

Hello,
My pc will not the deskltop icons, neither will the task manger open when I use crtl-al-del. Does the same in safe mode, I'm stuck anybody got any ideas?

I have the same problem,my Desktop suddenly missing.
How can I get it back.
When i click "START" and then the mouse on the right side,then I can find explore ,I can see desktop with the missing icons.
But how to get it back.
