GTA 4 Error

Hello, I just uploaded GTA 4 to my puter, when I go to play the game, I get a Fatal Error DD 3D 50. What the hell does that mean? I have a pretty descent puter, 2.66 ghz, 1.256 gig ram, and count em 2, I repeat 2 80 gig HD's. I have 3D screensavers that work fine, and look really awesome on my 17" flat screen. What does this error mean, and what can I do to fix it? Someone let me know on this issue.I WANNA PLAY, GTA!!!!

Hi,
to play GTA4 you need to have a core 2 duo processor.

HI MATE TRY SETTING SOCIAL CLUB DESKTOP ICON TO COMPATABILITY FOR XP OR WINDOWS 2000 AND GO INTO THE GTA IV PROGRAM FILES MAIN FOLDER AND SET GTA IV LAUNCHER EXE FILE TO COMPATABILITY FOR WINDOWS 2000 AS THIS WORKED GREAT FOR ME THAT IS A VISTA FIX BUT MAY WORK WITH XP I DON'T KNOW THOUGH. TO GET COMPATABILITY MODE OPTION YOU NEED TO RIGHT CLICK THE FILES IN QUESTION AND SELECT PROPERTIES THEN COMPATABILITY OH YES SET THEM BOTH AS ADMINISTRATOR TO AS THAT'S USUALY A HELP WITH AWKWARD FILE PROCESSES TO.HOPE YOU GET IT GOING AND CRACKING SOME SKULLS SOON REGARDS PHYSC

Dude... your pc is really not good... I have 2 250gig hard drives... alot of people have 2

The sort of pc you need to play gta iv with graphics on full is...

64-bit OS and a quad core processor as the game was designed to work best on those systems

3gig ram recommended, 4gig recommended for graphics on full

an nvidia 8800 miminum... i used to play on 8400/8600 and its just not worth it at all.
now i have a 4870x2.

One more thing, 3d screen savers can't compare to a game at all. Especailly a game like GTA IV. Screen savers don't run in any way similar.

I have fixed the problem for gta 4 (fatal error rmn40)
all you need to do is find the exe file, and change it to windows 2000, it works perfectly now, having loads of fun with it, hope this help

I got Xp SP2 , Graphics 512 Nv GF 8400 SE , 1000GBHDD , 4GB Ram , but iam low on processor , inter pentium 4 3.0 GHz that make Assassin's Creed work fine . and i did th compatitbilty thing to almost all the exe files in GTA , and when i start i still get the message a fatal error occured and must close the game . ( something said like that )
and no error number .
Any Idea Lads?
