8GB Pen Drive not detecting

Hello,

i have a 8gb transcend pen drive and before everything was alright but since a few my pc is not detecting it when i plug it in and i dont know what to do please help me out I am some important data in it.

It could be a number of causes...driver corrupted, pendrive corrupted, using wrong USB slot, so try the pendrive on someone elses pc to make sure thats not broken first.
