PS2 on PC does not work

Hello,

i downloaded Pcsx2 0.9.6 and also BIOS but when i run the file, it stops from there. I used both sources, from DVD and ISO file. It shows the initial screen (memory slot 1 and 2) but after that i cannot do anything. i cannot choose either memory slot 1 or 2. and it shows only half the screen. Other half comes blank.
WHAT SHOULD I DO ?

need help please.

my pc configuration -- 512 mb gfx card,2 gb ddr2 ram , core 2 duo proccecr 2.8, 945 motherboard, lg dvd rw,500 gb hdd, 19" samsung lcd monitor.

U r not using the full configuration for ur pcsx2 send ur config i will correct it for u
