The MSCONFIG Utility under Windows 2000









MISCONFIG is a utility for managing programs that is launched automatically at Windows start up. However this is application is installed as default under Windows 2000.

To remedy to this, you can download from the utility on below link:

http://www.aideonline.com/files/msconfig.zip

Once the file downloaded, unzip the file under C:\WINNT\system32
(Download link for 7-zip: http://www.7-zip.org)

You can now access msconfig by selecting Menu «Start» > «Run», then type msconfig as per below image:
