Defragmenting- Troubleshoot
Below is a tips troubleshoot defragmenting
When a disk is partitioned as C: System D: Applications and E: data), it may happen that are unable to defragment the drive
D (Applications).
However the solution that restores image partition
D does mot solve this problem.
To solve this problem, it is advised that you copy the directory containing all application of the drive D in another partition, data partition for example.
Then delete the directory in the
D: partition but do not deleted the application created by windows.
- Then copy the directory from the data partition in the original drive.
- Restart your computer and launch Defragmenting.
- This application has been tested under Windows 98SE and work perfectly.
