Defragmenting- Troubleshoot
Below is a tips troubleshoot defragmenting
When a disk is partitioned as C: System D: Applications and E: data), it may happen that are unable to defragment the drive
D (Applications).
However the solution that restores image partition
D does mot solve this problem.
To solve this problem, it is advised that you copy the directory containing all application of the drive D in another partition, data partition for example.
Then delete the directory in the
D: partition but do not deleted the application created by windows.
Then copy the directory from the data partition in the original drive.
Restart your computer and launch Defragmenting.
This application has been tested under Windows 98SE and work perfectly.
