McAfee SiteAdvisor [web browser module (add-on)]

Intro

McAfee SiteAdvisor � is an integrated module for your (your) web browser (s) (Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox) to increase the security of your computer on the Web.


Developed by McAfee laboratories, this add-on you informed of the results of its tests concerning the reliability of a site. The results are visible isearch engine (e.g Google) page but also in its toolbar integrated into the browser by giving a diagnosis of the site visited.

• It is a tool warning you of dangerous websites according to their analysis. Thus, you will be notified of a potentially dangerous site before clicking on the link.
• A large number of sites have already been tested and the extension displays the results.
• This tool comes in two forms: one is free (SiteAdvisor), the other one (SiteAdvisor Plus) is payable.

The free version is already very useful.
