Introduction


There are many video formats, each having their own specificity. Nevertheless, the video players are not able to read all the different formats , particularly in the case with embedded video players such as MP4 players. To remedy this, it is possible to convert (transcode) the video from one format to another.

Below is a non-exhaustive list of video converters:
