Obtaining a PDF
Introduction
Under the operating system Mac OS X, to obtain a PDF file, the you must not use
Save as but instead you must select
Print
Printing a PDF
- You have to select in the menu bar: File > Print.
In the Print Dialog box:
Select
PDF> Save as PDF Format
Extract pages
This method also allows you to extract pages from a PDF document.
The easiest way to extract pages is to choose:
Printing image
- You should note that the images in the PDF document are not printed automatically.
- To enable this, you must add a Safari plug-in (optional)
- From Safari, in the print dialog box
- Select Copies and pages
- Then Choose Safari > Printing background
- For further PDF features, you can opt for the software PDFLab.
