How to detect the number of packages free/non-free installed







Under Debian based system, with the help of a tool GNU, the tools VRMS is an application program that reports all of the packages whether it is free is non free which is currently installed on your computer. However what is genius with this tool is that same provide an explanation of why it is free and non-free.

You just have to install (aptitude install Vrms) and type (console) Vrms.
