Latest version of Windows Live Mail on Firefox (Linux)

Windows Live Mail is the latest version of Hotmail launched by Microsoft.

During its launching, Windows Live Mail version was compatible only with Internet Explorer in order to access to. Due to its restraint, the WLM has been modified by Microsoft in view to favor compatibility also with Firefox 1.5 (or latest version). However there has not been any compatibility with other OS. When trying to access Window s Live Hotmail, you receive below error message:

Below is a solution in view to remedy the solution:-

The solution is to cover up as a user of a Windows system.

To be able to do so, download and install the User Agent Switcher extension on below link:

Then go to Tools/ User Agent Switcher/Options/Options…

Category: User Agent, then click on Add and fill in the two fields as below:

Description: Firefox forWindows
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11

This will enable you to use the full version of Windows Live Hotmail.
