How to connect your Nintendo DS with a WIFI connection







To be able to connect your Nintendo DS on a WIFI connection using a Sagem Live Box, you should get the MAC address of your DS. To do this, you should first select the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Setup found in the game’s menu. Then, you can choose the “Options” feature and then select the “System Information” option. You will get the MAC address will be displayed on the first line of the screen.

Now what?


Now that you have the MAC address you can save it in your Live Box. To do this you should hence go on the URL http://192.168.0.1 .When you are requested to enter the username and password, insert “admin” for the username and “password” for the password. Now follow the steps below:

Step 1: select the Wireless Settings.
Step 2: edit the MAC filter list
Step 3: you can now enter the MAC address of your Nintendo DS, obtained earlier and save it

Now that you have saved it, you have to go to the Setup Utility program. It is already found in the Nintendo WFC compatible DS games. It will help you to configure the DS to be able to transfer the signals from the wireless router to the DS. It will thus save the information about the setup in the DS’s memory.

How to set the auto search option


Step 1: When the Setup screen is displayed, enter Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings and choose one of the Connection slots.
Step 2: When done, choose the Search for an Access Point option. When the list is displayed, choose the one that has a blue unlocked icon.
Step 3: Hence enter Access Point Name and press OK.
Step 4: When the connection is set between the router and the DS, you will be able to access the online gaming through a wireless connection.
