It may happen during the launch of Freebox HD, you receive a bug message WIFI 4/8.

Below is a tips of how to remedy the following error message in order to properly relaunch your Freebox HD.

First of all, make sure that your Freebox works properly with your DSL internet connection. Then unplug your freebox HD and connect it directly to an Ethernet cable without connecting to the sector.


Be careful: Connect your DSL internet connection with a right cable without using a router.

Connect the Freebox HD in the partition and press the middle button
When the Freebox swithes on, it will display: firmware.
The freebox will restart automatically and display “Rock ‘n’ roll followed by other startup steps. You should then wait that the Freebox display POOO.
Unplug the Ethernet cable with the routeur and wait for POOO display with the wifi adapter.
You can actually unplug the router and plug it with your TV.
