Clearing the history of the Run utility
To delete all entries in the history of the "Run", you just have to edit the registry and remove some values in the "RunMRU." key

- From there, reach the "RunMRU" key , two methods are described
Searching in the registry editor
- By using the "Find" tool:
- Simultaneously press the Ctrl and F.
- In the text case enter the word "regedit"
- Click on next or press "Enter" (leave the boxes "Keys'" Values "and" Data "ticked)
- Then for each occurrence of the word "regedit" found, press the "F3" to restart the search until the key "RunMRU" is located.
Searching in through the registry tree
Expand the tree until the key "RunMRU" :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ RunMRU
Once the key "
RunMRU" selected in the right window of the browser, erase all the values having as name, a letter of the alphabet
Then right-click on the "
MRUList"
Select "
Edit"
and erase the contents of the box "
Value data".
Click
OK, and then close your Registry Editor.
Restart your PC before the changes are taken into account.
