Microsoft Windows Installer is a tool that manages application with the MSI extension.

If an application with extension .MSI is corrupted or damaged, below image will be displayed during a program installation:


"Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid"
"Fatal error during installation"
"Unable to access the Windows Installer service"
"Unable to open this path. Contact the vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package.




The Windows Installer CleanUp utility will remove the Windows Installer configuration information wrong.

Solution


The utility Windows Installer CleanUp can remove the wrong information the wrong path.



Download and install Windows Installer CleanUp on below link:
http://www.softpedia.com/...

Click on the shortcut WindowS Installer CleanUp from “All Programs”.

Select the wrong path in the list of program to remove same.

Click on “Remove” > “OK”.

Proceed with Re-installation
