Onscreen-keyboard
Introduction
When using Windows, there is a utility that you can use when your keyboard is not working properly or is damaged, the On- Screen Keyboard is a simple tool that can provide you with the minimum functionality, just click on a desired key and it will be entered in the text zone.
Opening the utility
First method:
Click on the Start menu and the select the
Run tab
Type in the following command:
osk
The On-Screen Keyboard shall appear

Click on
Start >
All Programs >
Accessories>
Accessibility >
On-Screen Keyboard (under XP)
Vista logo>
Accessories>
Accessibility>
Ergonomic options>
On-Screen Keyboard (under Vista)
Typing modes
There are two typing modes available:
Click to select: click on the desired key to enter the value.
Hover to select: Hold the mouse pointer over a letter for a lap of time, the letter will be entered.
