How to install flash under firefox?

Introduction

Flash is a software created in vector animation which allows image , vector graphic image, animation and videos on certain websites like Youtube and other video websites.

However Firefox is not originally equipped with flash plug-in which however restrict contents of those specific websites.

In this tips we will get into how to proceed in order to install this application in view to bring into play and enjoy videos on those sites needing this application to further carry on.

Automatic installation

You can choose to install Plugin and flash player using the following command:

sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree flashplayer-nonfree



Note that this installation is not compatible with proxy settings. It is recommended to proceed with a manual installation if proxy is installed.

Manual installation

First of all, download flash player on below website:

Close firefox web browser.

Once file download , decompress the file and click on “Extract”
