E-mail attachment is one of the main sources of virus infection of computer’s system. When receiving e-mail attachment with outlook express. Outlook may prevent you from opening the attachment as your security level may be very high. To enable opening of attachment, your should check your e-mail security settings:

First of all, open Outlook express and click on “Tools” in the menu bar and scroll to “Option”.
Then select Security tab and uncheck option “Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus”.
Then confirm by clicking on “OK”.
