Disable spybot TeaTimer




Issue



The TeaTimer is a protection module of Spybot, which monitors the processes that are initiated and the changes made to the main registry. Before disinfection , you must disable this protection, otherwise the TeaTimer may impede the work of disinfection tools.

Solution


Here's how to disable it:
  • Run Spybot
  • Click on Mode and check Advanced Mode
  • Click on Tools then Resident
  • Uncheck the box Resident "Tea Timer"

  • Close Spybot and begin disinfection.
