[Steam]Download Issue






Issue


I would like to download the demo of the game using steam but when I click on the installation icon of the demo an error message appears 
Steam is already running in a different Windows user session

Solution


You must simply prevent steam to start the launch of Windows!

Windows key + R: to open the Run tab, type "msconfig" and click "OK"
The "System Configuration " windows will appear, select the "Startup" tab.

Search for Steam in the list then you uncheck it.

From there it should work normally.

Notes


If it does not work for those who have Vista, try running Steam as an administrator.
  • For this, two solutions:
    • right click on the Steam icon, then click Run as administrator.
    • right click on the Steam icon, then Properties, then the "Compatibility" tab check the box Run as administrator, which saves you each time repeating the previous solution.
