[Counter Strike 1.6] error message: available memory less than






Issue


Upon installing Counter Strile 1.6 on my windows XP professional x64 and try to run the game I got a message " available memory less than 15 MB". I went to compatibility but it still shows the same problem.

Here's my configuration:
  • 4 GB RAM KINGMAX BULK
  • Abit quad gt motherboard
  • Core 2 duo 3.00 ghz
  • HDD 320 gb
  • nVidia gf9600gt 1 GB

Solution


Download this file and replace it with your default one in the main <GAMEDIR> where the HLDS.exe is located too.
