Issue


How to add Windows Live Messenger (or MSN) in the taskbar at the bottom right (systray), under Windows 7?

Solution

  • Close Windows Live Messenger.
  • Right click on the icon Windows Live Messenger and select "Properties".
  • In the Compatibility tab, select "Windows Vista Service Pack 2" (or vista, or vista SP1).
  • Apply and close all.
  • Restart Windows Live Messenger.
