Windows Timer Shutdown







This tip will help you manage your computer time usage. Useful, if you are a parent and you want your children to use the computer moderately!
The process is very simple, Windows XP has a built-in mode to turn off the computer automatically after a predetermined delay!

Please follow these instructions below:
  • Click on “Start” > Run
  • Type: CMD, press Enter
  • Type the following command:

Shutdown.exe –s –t xxx
(-S = Shutdown switch), (-t = is the time switch) and (xxx is the delay in seconds)
