Connected to the network but unable to access internet

Issue

I'm having a problem access to the internet with IE/Mozilla firefox and i'm prompted by an error message saying cannot display web page.

I can still on skype to chat and I'm receiving my e-mails.

Solutions tried:
  • I have tried to turn off firewall,
  • Uninstall antivirus but still cannot access.

Solution

All you will have to do is to enable some settings on Internet Explorer,
  • Open Internet Explorer,
  • Click on Tools
  • Open Internet Options
  • Click on the Connection Tab
  • Click LAN Settings
  • Tick Automatically detect settings
  • Click on OK to finish

Restart Internet Explorer

This will fix the problem.
