Vista-Increasing SATA Disk drive performance








Your SATA hard drive performance can be increased, it just enable write caching. This is very useful if your computer or laptop suddenly shuts down to prevent data loss/corruption! This feature is incorporated in Windows Vista which most users don’t know!

How to proceed:
  • Click on Start Button, open “Control Panel”
  • Open “Device Manager”
  • Expand “Disk Drives”
  • Select your hard drive and right click
  • Select “Properties”
  • Click on the “Policies” tab
  • Check “Enable Advanced Performance”
  • Click “Ok”
