Add “Edit with Notepad” option in the "Send to" sub-menu
You want to quickly edit NFO, EML or DIZ or any other files with notepad... Here is a tip to add “Edit with Notepad” option in the “Send to” menu when you right click on a file!
To Proceed:
Right Click on your desktop and create a new Shortcut.
Type “Notepad” in Location of the item then click on “Next”
Type the shortcut name - "Edit with Notepad"
Click on “Finish”
Right click this shortcut on the desktop and select properties.

- Paste this in "target" and "start in" fields.
Browse to
%UserProfile%\SendTo
in explorer
C:\Documents and Settings\User_Name\SendTo\
Copy the "Edit with Notepad.lnk" file which you already created, to that folder.
As from now you can right-click on any file-type, to be modified by notepad by selecting the option “Edit with Notepad” in the “Send to” Sub menu.
Please note that this tip can be used for Windows 2000, XP, Vista!
