[Video] PC-TV Connection


It is relatively simple to connect the PC to the TV.

Connections


It must first connect devices via S-video cable from the PC to the TV, then the sound via the headphone output to TV CINCH input. When the TV has this type of audio input, the scart adapter is not necessary.

Settings


It is necessary to change the Windows settings for the connection to be effective.

For this, click the right mouse button on the desktop and choose Graphics Properties, then your television as output.

If after several attempts without success, then reduce the resolution to 800x600.

Notes

  • The menu appears only if everything is connected correctly.
  • The S-video cable is provided for the original black and white.
  • Currently on new computers, manufacturers are finally implemented a S-video color connector that has more pins (the same goes for TVs)
  • Otherwise, there is always the possibility of using a composite cable to replace the S-video.
