If you experience this problem after some time of use, this is completely usual! The laptop will shut down by itself as it gets overheated! This is due to dust which is accumulated in the processor thermal-cooling assembly which then blocks the hot air to evacuate!
Solution
You will have to open your laptop back panel and also the processor thermal cooling assembly, all you will need is a screw driver! Follow the instructions below:
Remove the eight screws from the module cover,at the back of the laptop, shown in the figure,
Remove the five captive screws which is related to the processor thermal cooling assembly
Use a paint brush of 2 inch or any other cleaning brush to remove all the dust found!
Replace the processor thermal cooling assembly with tighten screws and also the module cover to finish
Please note that you can use this procedure for the dell inspiron 1526 also!
