Connect your Wii to the Internet





There are two ways to connect his Wii to internet

Either wi-fi or USB for those who can not go into wi-fi, Nintendo provides a USB Wi-Fi connector compatible with both the Wii and DS

  • Sharing
  • Then Internet.




Share From Ethernet Internet connection
  • Network card in your computer to your AirPort <--- wireless connection.
  • Now click Airport Options.
  • Then you'll need to choose the name given to the connection Give the name you want, it does not matter.
  • Click OK to accept the change.
  • Now, go back to System Preferences, then:
  • Click Network.
  • Show and select AirPort.
  • TCP / IP.
  • Configure IPv4 Manually.
  • And enter the following parameters:
  • IP Address: 10.0.1.15
  • Subnet: 255.255.255.0
  • Router Address: 10.0.1.1
  • Both DNS Servers: 10.0.1.1

Detecting Wireless Connection

  • Check out on the Wii if you detect wireless connection. You must enter the information manually in the setting of the Wii for this to work properly.
  • IP Address: 10.0.1.25
  • Subnet: 255.255.255.0
  • Router Address: 10.0.1.1
  • Both DNS Servers: 10.0.1.1
