Total Security is a fake antivirus application that has for purpose to deceive persons into buying the program. Total Security is often downloaded from websites providing fake free online virus scans. It also comes with a Trojan that will infect computers.



Symptoms


Total Security interface looks like a true antivirus software and will prompt you with some false security alerts.
Supicious files :winsource.dll, TSC.lnk, help.lnk, registration.lnk, Uninstall TSC.lnk ..etc
When connecting to the internet your browser will be redirected to powerfullantivirusproduct.com and checkmypcantivirus.com

Removing Total Security


This infection can be easilly handle using any antivirus software and Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware.
But make sure that you have the latest updates
