Completely remove a program

Upon uninstalling a program, it is possible that the registry keys or files are still present on the PC.

If the Add/remove program feature is not enough then simply use the registry editor.

Note that this method requires making that you make changes in the registry, therefore better take your precautions beforehand.

The aim is to make a search based upon the name of the program, the developer or its components.
  • Start menu "Run" type regedit "and click OK.
  • Once the registry editor open, go to Edit then Find.
  • In the space provided, enter the name of the file to delete and click "Next".
  • Delete and all lines will be found (highlighted).
  • Press F3 to repeat the search, and that until the registry editor can not find any key and confirms that the search is completed.
