A message is stuck in outbox of Outlook






Issue

It may happens when you are trying to send an email (having some large file attached to it) that this message is stucked in our outbox.
Trying to remove this message will only result in Outlook prompting you that the message is being sent and that the process is not over.

How to remove this message:
  • Quit Outlook.
  • click Start, then Run.
  • In the Open box, type Outlook /safe. .
  • Note: You must insert a space between Outlook and the forward slash (/).
  • Click OK.
  • Try deleting the email in your Outbox.
