Configure Hotmail on your iphone




To configure Hotmail on your iphone without using other mail clients or other applications, follow these steps:

Add a new account:


Go to:
  • Settings
  • Mails
  • Contacts
  • Calendar
  • Click on "Add Account" then "Other"
  • Enter your name, address, mail, Hotmail/Live, your password and click "Save" at the top right of the page.

Account Setup:

  • Click on POP
  • In "Server received", enter this:
  • Hostname: pop3.live.com
  • Username: Your Hotmail/Live address
  • Password: password
  • In "Mail Server", enter this:
  • Hostname: smtp.live.com
  • Username: Your Hotmail/Live address
  • Password: password



Once this is filled, click Save in the upper right and now the setup is complete.
