How to repair a scratch CD?




It might happen that you’ve got a CD / DVD that is has been accidentally scratched and you absolutely want to retrieve data / music from this.

The first solution to recover file from the CD is to wipe same from the center to the outward with a soft and clean tissue together with some clean water. Another tips for repairing CD is to apply hair gel on the scratch parts and gently polished parts of it in order to retrieve information. But be careful as this might within time decrease performance of your CD-Drive.

If this does not work, it is recommended that you data CD recovery to recuperate your files from CD.
